Melissa Alderman, RCS

Melissa Alderman is a Registered Cardiac Sonographer. She graduated from Northeast State Community College in 2012 with an A.A.S from the Cardiovascular Technology Non-Invasive program.

She began her career helping new students entering the Cardiovascular program as their Lab Assistant and the Clinical Coordinator while also working for Unicoi County MemorialHospital. Later she had the opportunity to increase her skills by working at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville and Bristol Regional Medial Center. She also holds a B.S degree with concentration of Allied Health Leadership.

Melissa is a Jonesborough native. She is married and has two children. Their furry companions consist of four cats, most of which adopted them. In their spare time they enjoy hiking, camping and other outdoor activities.
